A fine art reproduction of John Rocque's extremely large exact survey of London and the surrounding country. The survey was carried out between 1741 and 1745 and published in 24 sheets in 1747. It was the most detailed map of London to be published at the time and it is an important historical source. With detailed and exquisitely executed cartouches.

This reproduction has been reduced in size from the 24 original copper engraved sheets, and presented in a beautiful hand turned and hand finished round frame, to make it an extremely versatile and striking piece.
