Sir William Russell Flint (1880 - 1969), was one of Britains most famous painters and sketch makers, especially for figurative subjects. He had the ability to communicate his sensitive feelings for beauty in all things. His skill and craftmanship make him one of the most popular artists of the time. He is most well known for his landscapes and nude studies from provincial France.
