Left: Apricots, Plums, Cherries and Rasberries.
Right: Blackberries, Redcurrants, Gooseberries and Cobnuts.
Framed in our own on site workshop.
Part of a series of botanicals which the artist completed in Belgium during the First World War. He died at the end of 1918 and his family later bound the series together as a gift for his niece. The series comprises of a number of beautifully executed pencil drawings, with the most outstanding attention to detail. Each original sketch has a professor's stamp on the reverse.
