Sir William Russell Flint (1880 - 1969), one of Britains most famous painter and sketch maker, especially for figurative subjects. He had the ability to communicate his sensitive feelings for beauty in all things, his skill and craftmanship make him one of the most popular artists of the time. He is most well known for his landscapes and nude studies from provincial France.
This original lithographed print was published as part of an intimate collection of the artists sketch book in the 1950's.
