An original antique wood engraving in hand colour, drawn by Arthur Allon and published by the illustrated London News on 14th June 1851. A view across Hyde Park and South West London from the North. On the banks of the Serpentine can be seen Crystal Palace in its original position for the Great Exhibition of the Works of Industry of all Nations. The view takes in the stretch of river from Chelsea Bridge to Fulham Bridge.
